Helpful Tips for Installing Your Computer
Have you just purchased a new PC (or a refurbished one) and can't wait to start using it? Before you turn it on, here are a series of practical tips for configuring it correctly and getting the best performance right away.
1. ๐ฆ Adequate positioning and space
Choose a stable, clean, and well-ventilated location for your computer:

Avoid carpets, heat sources and overly closed spaces

If it's a desktop PC, leave at least 10cm of space behind and on the sides for air circulation.

If it's a notebook, avoid using it on soft surfaces (sofas, beds)
2. ๐ Correct connections

Connect your monitor first , then your keyboard, mouse, speakers or headphones

If you use a wired connection , connect the Ethernet cable before turning on your PC

For gaming or high-performance PCs, make sure you use a power strip with surge protection.

Upon startup, verify correct date, time and language

If the operating system is already installed (e.g. Windows 10 or 11), connect to the Internet and start automatic updates
